Hurtado Zimmerman SC is pleased to announce that Bryan T. Kroes has been named a Shareholder of the firm as of January 1, 2022.
Bryan focuses his practice in construction, real property development, municipal bond finance and entertainment law. He represents contractors, designers, and owners to prepare and negotiate construction contracts, address lien and bond claims, resolve design and construction defect litigation and ADR claims, and complete property sale and acquisition, commercial leasing, and related intellectual property rights protection. As an entertainment attorney, Bryan represents musicians, artists, record labels, theater owners, publishers, and other creative entities in entertainment contract preparation and negotiation, copyright and trademark applications, licensing agreements and claims resolution, as well as ongoing general business advice.
Bryan is a founding member, and currently serves as Treasurer, of the Wisconsin Entertainment Lawyers Association, as well as serving as an Advisor to the State Bar of Wisconsin Construction and Public Contract Law Section. In 2019, he was named an Up and Coming Lawyer by the Wisconsin Law Journal, and was recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2020.
Bryan brings pragmatic, down-to-earth diligence to his legal practice, having prior working experience in the entertainment, law enforcement, and construction industries.
